This is the third of a trilogy and you must read them in order to fully appreciate the experience. I loved this story!
Two years after Beartown’s tragedy, a community is still hurting and can’t seem to move forward. The community struggles to find a new purpose and redefine itself as well as the characters evolve into the next phase of their lives.
In this novel, someone comes back to Beartown, someone dies, someone falls in love, someone is struggling to fix a marriage, and someone else resolves to do anything to save their children. It is so full of all of the things. It’s bigger than a quick story that you sit down to read. This novel will immerse you in the lives of the characters and invest you in the outcome of the community.
This brilliant story is so full of emotion and it may take the culmination of tragedy and rage to bring the characters around for the coming together that the community has long awaited. 4.5/5⭐
