My favorite place is the public library. In East Tennessee, there is literally a network of libraries at your disposal. I live within a short distance of four and I have a card for all of them. The public library is the best place to introduce yourself to a new author or a new genre. You can try them out for free! I’ll admit that I am a book dragon, a collector of books. This year I resolved myself to only collect the ones I really love, so I try to get a library copy and try them out first. I’ll admit I have failed that resolution more than a few times because I love books.
The point I am making in this first post, go visit your local library. Did you know that many libraries offer so much more than books? There are community programs, classes, and people to connect with over books or just general interests that you may have in common. You actually help your libraries when you visit, participate, and when you check books out.
I challenge you to go get a library card and explore the stacks!
